Open Question: Close to getting Wi-fi everywhere on your itouch?
Currently I have a pocket-pc: HTC Touch 3g that has a internet everywhere and a “internet sharing” application on the phone, and an Itouch 2g with abilities to call and text, as long as I have a Wi-fi connection. The Itouch does not recognize the ‘hands-free’ device with bluetooth to avoid getting internet connections. My phone recognizes the Itouch using bluetooth, but when trying to connect it with the bluetooth it will not recognize the Itouch, suspecting apple hides it. I need a way to get my phones internet to my itouch, or buy a mobile hotspot to carry around if there is anything of the such…
Possible solutions:
-Change bluetooth profile of phone with a Registry Editor from a hands-free to a A2DP so it will recognize it, then possibly connect.
-Find a program for the phone to convert it’s signal to a hotspot, not WMWifiRouter, no luck with that.
Any ideas? If we find a breakthrough of this, the Itouch will become the Iphone.
