who I am:

Budgeted collage student

What I am using:

* Computer:Dell Latitude|D600
* Pda is Legacy Device: Ipaq 3975
* CE version: PPC 2003 upgrade

Operating system:

Win xp professional service pack 3 latest updates as of 03/Feb/2010

Activesync version:

Activesync 4.5 Worldwide English

This is what I did

Note: there was an established partnership on activesync 4.5 before Autorest (see point 1) &
During the following process Points, Partnership wizard never engaged (never poped up)

1. let Ipaq 3975 battery loose all charge; Ipaq 3975 lost all info & auto reset default (not a problem)
2. tried to connect via bluetooth
3. after not being able to connect via bluetooth I foolishly deleted all remaining partnerships (all including guest)
4. connected Ipaq 3975 via cradle
5. in connection wizard I set com port to “com1″
6. I then clicked connect button
7. connection wizard discovered my device & alerted me via alert sound yet no new partnership was created or available so device was immediately after clicking the ok button.
8. uninstalled activesync and reinstalled
9. repeated point 7

how do I resolve this issue and create a new activesyn partnership
