Open Question: What exactly defines ‘Public Display of Affection?’?

March 5, 2010

I have recently starting dating this new lass and we are both in University, but we were at her place the other night and her roommates were sitting around, so we started watching the hockey game sitting on the couch with them and my girl put her head in my lap (not sexually) and we were just cuddling and watching the game and talking with everyone and I’d lean in ever so often to give her a kiss and whatnot. However, I hear the next day that the roommates were uncomfortable with our ‘PDA’ and that we make them really uncomfortable around us.

Now this is where I got really mad. First off, where do they get the right to even say something? Its not like we are dry-fucking on the couch, we were just cuddling, not doing anything. Did they have a right to say anything to my girlfriend, because yes I do understand that it is there house, but it is my GF’s too.

So if someone was to say something to me, do I have a right to get pissed off at them and tell them to fuck off?

Please advise!
