PDAxtreme

My small NWZ-E Series Walkman is stuck in the startup screen where it displays the W• Walkman logo and the little quote “Every moment has its music” and that little swirling box icons showing its loading, BUT it doesn’t load, it stops and shuts down. Battery is good and fully charged. I connect it to a computer and it does not show up as a drive.

I think it’s looking for the Music folder but that folder may be corrupted as it showed up as a file before this happened, I thought I fixed it and now its just doesn’t see it or load it.

But my main question is then, how can I re-format/erase the Walkman’s flash drive with the external buttons.I tried pushing the RESET button but that doesn’t work, still stuck on startup and turns off. Since I can’t mount it, I can’t erase it with my computer and since I can’t get it to load a least temporarily to factory reset it with the Walkman’s built in OS.

Is there a combination of RESET button and front buttons or side buttons that can actually erase the drive or reformat the drive to start fresh factory default by erasing the drive completely? Just like on a PDA, you can hold the reset button and hold another button to completely reset the device.
