Resolved Question: PDA phone - GPS for emergency?

If any existing freewares for PDA phone (mine is Windows Mobile) that use its GPS device and phone to send emergency SMS/calls with gps location to some pre-input telephone numbers (such as home, friends, police or etc?)
As I am thinking that just a simple icon button with confirmation then a emergency message with GPS location will be send out. It is definitely helpful to many people outside!!!

Manufacturers are always keen to promote navigation use on foot, particularly pda devices and recent tablets but does anyone actually walk around with navigation devices? Personally I’d feel self conscious, a little worried about theft. Some of the areas in my location are pretty rough, walking around with gps is like an open invitation. Do you use yours on foot openly, if so, do you live in a city / town ?

Open Question: What is the best equipment for wireless wardriving for PDA or Laptop, please include both.?

The PDA that I am using is a Sharp Zaurus SL-6000 therefore equipment compatible with Linux and Kismet, and i would like to use Netstumbler for my laptop.
I know the equipment I need, but I would like to know the best Wireless NIC, the best Handheld GPS Unit, I would prefer one of the small ones that only work if connected to a computer, and the best external antennae.
