TomTom, CoPilot or other?
TomTom, CoPilot or other?
I’m looking at getting an Android phone and the two that are available to me in my price range are the LG Eve and the HTC Dream. Which is a better phone keeping in mind that I plan to not use my data package (data plans in Canada are horribly over priced) but I would like to take advantage of features like GPS, taking quick camera pics/videos, and to use as a PDA (my current PDA is a Nokia N800 and besides being a great PDA, it is too bulky to carry around everywhere).

So, I saw this laptop on “The Source” website.
it’s brand new & so i couldnt find any reviews.
- soo, tell me what you guys think.
by the way: I want to be able to put alot of music, pictures, files, etc. in it,
without it starting to slow down - & be all gay on me.

I have been playing around with the GPS and its reasonable but it doesnt seem to have a lot of roads that it seems to locate…..i have been looking around for updates on the web but most are dead links from years ago.
So i type in an address or post code and it only recognises the first 3 or 4 letter/digits…..am i doing something wrong or is it hideously out of date?
If anyone has a 168 and knows if i have to update the maps somehow so the PDA knows more roads or anything please let me know. I have a couple of disks with it but nothing seems to update it so far.
For instance i want to go to BS5 7UP but it only recognises BS5 which will only get to speedwell, which to be fair, i could get myself to without the GPS. I want it to get me to the exact destination, not just the town!!!
any help appreciated!
Nyx
