I want to use outlook 2007 to add contacts, tasks and calendar.I don’t want to set up an email account. I only want to be able to use contacts etc. My pda is hp ipaq 1940 and am running vista home premium on laptop. This has been driving me cazy, thought it would be simple
My computer teacher was going over our worksheet in school today. Well she showed us her PDA, and I fell in love with it! I forget what kind it was and everything like that. But I am hoping that at least somebody can answer my question! She told us that she only paid $99.00 and that she loves it! It is not real big and it is touchscreen with no keyboard! It is not a smart phone or any kind of phone! But it is so cool! I love it! But I was looking every where and I can’t find it! She plays games on it and stuff, Can somebody tell me What kind this PDA is (it wasn’t HP) and where can I buy it. And if you can’t figure it out then I would like to purchase one anyways even if it isn’t the kind my teacher does. I just don’t want to pay over $150.00. Later on, after I get use to my first PDA I will of course buy a more expensive one that is a better quality.

i put the pda on a charger and it will Only turn on for a sec or two but then it turns off and doesn’t even charge i think its the battery but could there be something more
I’m a nursing student and need it for school but I have never owned a PDA. Should I get the HP iPAQ 111 or 211?
I have an old HP IPAQ h5550 PDA. I’m unsure if the charge is getting to the battery correctly or if the phone just not realizing the battery to be charged because it’s too dead. I’ve had the battery on a slow USB charge for almost 24 hours and the battery reads 2V, but the multimeter reading will drop quickly if I keep it connected. The battery is a 3.7V Lithium Polymer (LIPO) and has 5 contacts at the top (see Link below for picture). I do have a good battery. Using my multimeter on the good battery (numbering the contacts from left to right 1-5 using the picture) #1 is NEGATIVE and #2 Is POSITIVE= 3.7V. Secondly #2 POSITIVE and #5 also makes 3.7V. I can’t get any readings of any value using contacts #3 & #4. That battery works fine though.
My other batteries have gone totally dead. The PDA won’t turn on at all unless it has at least 3V charge in the battery. I tested the factory PDA charger with my multimeter and it has its 5V output. When using the AC charger I get a minimal charge as a result. The AC charger is rated at “5V 2000mA.” I highly doubt the AC charger turns off the charging when a full charge is reached, but the phone itself may regulate the charge and stop the charge from reaching the battery once full charge is reached.
Here’s my question. The manual says the battery will charge in as little as 4 hours. Can I use any 5V AC adapter and hook it up with the positive feed on contact #2 and the negative contact going to #1 and #5? Will it be okay if I run the one Negative to both the #1 and #5 contact on the battery? I figured I would try charging it that way for a few hours and then test it with my multimeter. Once I reach 3V I can see if the phone will turn on so I can monitor it’s progress.
