First Android based MID announced in Korea

“Korea-based Inbrics is readying several Android-powered devices for a CES unveiling in January. The devices include an M1 MID, a dual-screen clamshell, MID-like device called the Dual, and the SoIP Homestation, which combines the functions of an IP set-top box, DLNA-ready media server, and videophone, says the company.Inbrics is primarily a VoIP phone vendor, but is in the midst of rolling out a number of consumer electronics devices based on its own Android-based stack (see farther below for an architecture diagram). The company posted a spec sheet for the Dual, and it also offers some information on the SoIP Homestation, but it has provided very little on the M1 MID (mobile Internet device).According to a report in CNET Asia, however, the M1 is the closest to market, and will be shown by Ingenics at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2010, to be held on Jan. 7-10 in Las Vegas. It is unclear which of Ingenics’ other devices will be shown, but the slick YouTube commercial farther below suggests that they might all be on display as prototypes, if not fully functioning demo models.” Read more here:

Resolved Question: What is the difference in regular verizon phones that get internet and smartphones or pda’s?

I’m thinking of getting the Samsung Rogue (regular phone), but was also interested in the new Droid, or a Blackberry (what they call smartphone/pda’s). But, they both get internet and stuff. So what makes them so different?

Resolved Question: what at&t cell phone should i get?

i’ll be eligible for a cell phone upgrade with at&t next week and i really don’t know what phone i want, i like so many of them! but anyways, uhm..i’m 15, i’m looking for a slide-out qwerty keyboard phone or touch screen or both. i don’t mind having a pda or smartphone. it has to have camera and video. and music player. and it just has to be really sexy and unique but not too expensive. it can’t be more than $150 with the 2 year contract. and i would like to have wifi integrated but not really necessary, doesn’t really matter to me. but i guess that’s about it. please help me decide. also it can’t be too bulky and cheap-looking. please help me out :)
i want to change what i said before. i don’t want a touch screen qwerty keyboard

Resolved Question: What Phone is Right for me?

I currently looking for an AT&T phone and i would like to have these features:

Exellent PDA – Adding events and syncing with google calendar etc, view microsoft files (word documents) and be able to edit them.
Exellent Browser- must have full HTML browser and Flash is a plus.
WiFi
Must be good at multitasking. Similar to the palm Pre
3G network ( at&t)
Touchscreen
QWERTY Keyboard (physical or touchscreen dont matter)
Slider prefered over bar styles. But if whole screen is a touch screen (like iphone) i prefer that.
Good amount of internal memory.
Good email capabilities.
Many custimization options are a huge plus.
Apps are also a plus.

So pretty much im looking for a phone that has all and more of the features the iphone has. And no i dont want an iphone, ive had one before and it has given me many problems. So please dont mention the Iphone.

Resolved Question: Where can I buy a PDA in Brisbane QLD to run Calorie King?

I would prefer to only spend up to about $300 as this is all I want to use it for. I already have a mobile so I don’t need wifi or smart phone features.

It seems as thought they are being phased out but I’m hoping I can still find one somewhere.
