Resolved Question: PDA experts – models with integrated GPS?
Hello,
Thinking about purchasing a PDA with an integrated GPS receiver to take away on holiday with me to use while we are walking around new areas we don’t know.
I have considered the smartphone option as well. Would like one which a battery would last most of the day before needing a charge and has good reception to work in as many areas as possible.
Resolved Question: Recommendation for a Verizon phone?
I’m looking to get a new phone and would like recommendations. Due to coverage in my area I’m more or less restricted to Verizon. My usage for the phone would primarily be text messages. Talking not so much. I’d like to be able to check email, have GPS, and use it as a PDA as well. I’ve been looking at the blackberrys, but saw many other smart phones that might fit the bill. Any opinions would be helpful.
Resolved Question: PDA vs. iPod touch for use as daily planner, web surfing?
I am looking for a wireless device that lets me surf the web, check my email, and keep track of my daily schedule and to-do list. I also want something with good battery life. GPS and ability to sync to Remember the Milk would be big pluses, but they’re not necessary. I don’t need mp3 player or video player functionality, and I don’t want a phone.
I was thinking an iPod touch might be good, especially since the older models will be discounted now that newer ones are coming out. But what I’m looking for is more like a PDA, and the iPod touch has a lot of features that I don’t need (and clunky iTunes software that I’d rather avoid).
Resolved Question: What is a good PDA/Smartphone?
I am a home health nurse and I carry a palm pilot with my drug guide and medical dictionary in it, but I would like to simplify with a phone. I also would like GPS on it so I can find my pt. houses easily. I’ve considered the Iphone or the LG incite, I’m not real fond of the blackberry style, but I love the AT&T quickfire style, however it isn’t a PDA phone. The main thing I’m looking for is a good phone with a wide enough screen that I can read my drug guide on clearly.
Resolved Question: How do you reset your password on a pda/phone when you can’t remember your password to begin with?
I have a Pharos GPS 525 Windows Mobile that I need to reset in order to enter a new password. Thanks in advance for your help.

Voting Question: I am listing an Apple 3G 8GB iPhone for sale on Ebay?
The listing designer wants me to check what features are included based on a pre-determined list. I know that it has a Calendar, Email Access, GPS, PDA-PC Speakerphone, Bluetooh Enabled, Color Screen , Internet Browser, MP# Player SMS-Text Messaging, Touch Screen and is Wi-Fi Capable.
I do not know what Push to Talk is.
Does it have USB Interface? I am assuming it does, since you plug a USB cord into the computer.
Global Ready??
MMS Enabled??
Polyphonic Ringtones??
QWERTY Keyboard??
Can anyone tell me if the items with the question marks are available on this model?

Resolved Question: Would the motorola droid work as a pda, independent of a servie plan?
I don’t really want a $3,800 contract, and I need a new pda, so would the Droid work?
I’m especially interested in the GPS functionality. Will GPS services be available without a network service plan?
Open Question: Looking for an economical handheld GPS for mapping or surveying?
I’m looking for a handheld GPS or possibly a card or accessory for a laptop or PDA (Treo, Blackberry, Palm Pilot, etc) to use do some mapping and casual “surveying” of a piece of rural property.
Basically want to mark the location of features on a piece of property – creeks, gullies, trees, easements, well, outbuildings, etc.
