I’m thinking of getting the Samsung Rogue (regular phone), but was also interested in the new Droid, or a Blackberry (what they call smartphone/pda’s). But, they both get internet and stuff. So what makes them so different?

I have a Palm PDA. I have a lot of information in the calendar, contacts, memos and note pad. I’m considering getting an iPhone. Can I transfer all the information and history into an iPhone? If so, how? Many, many thanks for the help.

Tele-care uses network technology can relay various kinds of signal of the patient to doctor or medical personnel without the limitation of time and space. Therefore it may lighten medical personnel’s burden and can look after the patient all the time. This project plans to setup a tele-care system used for indoor and outdoor occasions. Tumbling signal and physiological signal of the patient can be transmitted by active RFID label on the medical measuring device and received by active RFID reader which can relay the signal to the control center via network. When the medical personnel find the abnormal signal then he can converse and confirm the condition with the patient. PDA receive the tumbling signal and physiological signal from active RFID or blue tooth then reach the control center via GSM/GPRS. The collected data combined with patients background information will be analyzed to learn more about tele-care, then the patient can be more effectively taken care.

Got this PDA a few years back . It was mandatory for a medical class I took. We had to download the whole medical text into there. I took a few years off from college, and the pda just stood in a drawer and died out. I need to buy a charger, cuz I cant find mine. Where can i buy a charger?

What else can I do with a PDA besides have medical text in it? what is the point of a PDA?

My husband has an iPAQ PDA and wants some cool accessories for it for Christmas. He mentioned two items and I can’t find either. One is a GPS card that you put into the iPAQ and it becomes a functioning GPS device. The other is some sort of camera card that turns the iPAQ into a digital camera. If anyone can find new, up-to-date accessories that would work on the iPAQ, I would be really grateful!!!

I know that these days some mobile phones have wireless (a/b/g) and maority have bluetooth, now since a mobile phone is more of an accessory to a computer (thats the basis of bluetooth compared to wireless) why would you want wireless…?(i know if it was a PDA it makes more sense but excluding PDA’s)

Now before I go more into my question, let me just say that I have nothing against apple, I love my mac.

So if you are planning to buy and Iphone, what are you’re reasons? Im extremely curious to know cause the way I see it, theres nothing super special about it. The only differences I can come up with at the moment, when compared to my current pocket pc(XV6700) phone, which is:
-much larger storage
-visual voicemail(which isn’t a huge difference anyways)
-all-touchscreen
-OS

I just purchased a toshiba e740. I currently have the PDA, a black case, a docking station, a keyboard, a stylus and a power supply. I am a college student and I will be using it to take notes in class and to surf the web. Are there any other accesories that I will need? I want to go ahead and buy them now if i do, that way i dont get stuck without something that i really need.

Oh, and will i need the software and manuals? i dont have that either. Someone please help me!!!
