Before I get some useless responses,I know that WIFI is FREE!I am with AT&T.I used to have the HTC Fuze phone and now I have the Blackberry Bold phone.With the Fuze,I could use WIFI when I had a signal.With the Bold,I cannot.I was told by AT&T that I needed to pay for the Blackberry PDA plan in order to use WIFI which does not make sense at all!I was told that Blackberry is different and that I needed the plan.Is there a different way to access WIFI with my phone or is there a free download that I can get that will allow me to accomplish this?I am looking for a serious answer this time!I do not need to see“Dude!WIFI is free!

well, i want to buy an ipod touch 32 Go equiped with wifi connection, but i heard that this wifi connection don’t allow you to go in other websites except apple website…and if you want to be able to go in other websites you may subscribe.
does anyone use an ipod touch here ? please could you tell me if is it possible to surf the web with an ipodTouch like in iphone or a wifi-equiped device (pc , pda ,…)?

I’m looking for a handheld that does not run windows mobile, but has things like calendar and tasks and wifi. Any thoughts? I am NOT looking for a phone, so please no one say “iPhone.” I already have a cell I love and am not looking to replace it, plus I don’t want the focus split between phone and internet device/pda.

My friend has a problem with his laptop, he swiped the hard drive and it erased the wifi card software, and now he cant get the internet, so he wants me to buy a wifi card for it, and i just want to know what kind of options there are and if i could use an sd wifi card for a pda, would that work on a laptop? thanks!
he cant install the software if he cant get on the internet.

Where can I find a mobile phone dictionary. Explaining things like WiFi; 3G; Windows Mobile; GPS SERVICES; Smart-phones etc. And then the definitions of these. Such as, QWERTY; MOBILE WEB BROWSING; FAST WEB BROWSING verses 3G data fields; PDA?

I am trying to connect my HTC 3G Phone to my laptop.

I changed the port number for Remote Desktop by using regedit and change the port number in RDP-Tcp.

I have changed the port number to 5000.

i want to get a PDA that has an MP# player and Wifi. i will use it for esword and Strong’s exhaustive concordance. i have window px right now on my laptop i do have a desktop that has vista but it crashed. oh and i dont have alot of money but i just need to know a good brand and model number for it. thanks

I’m wondering if the built in WiFi can be used with a Blackberry that is not set up with a data plan. I don’t really need to check my emails every 5 minutes, but it would be nice to have access when in a hotspot. Also, I’m looking into getting a refurbished phone for cheaper, so I figured why not shell out $100 and get a pda with WiFi. Any thoughts/advice???
