Open Question: I just bought a used blackberry pda, do i need to pay for att data plan if i dont use it?

Author: I currently have an old samsung phone and no dataplan, I do not plan to use the data plan in the future. does att require to purchase the data plan even if i dont use it?

Open Question: New Phone Suggestions?
My contract goes up in March so I will be new phone shopping. I need a phone that can hold lexi comp drug resource, has pda capabilities, possibly a touch screen. What do u suggest? If a blackberry, what kind do u recommend? Thanx
