Resolved Question: do you have to pay to surf the web/check email on the ipod touch?
I don’t understand. This is all new to me. When you have a cell phone or a ipod touch that can check email at a WiFi location how do you connect to it ? I mean, do you have to pay for that service? I was told that with a WiFi laptop or cell phone or palm or pda or whatever thing you using that you can buy airtime cards or something or some kind of 3G card that lets you get on the internet? I don’t understand any of this. how do you pay for it, who do you pay, and how much does it cost?
I have the internet at home through my cable company, so I pay them to have the internet. So I dont understand when you go to a coffee shop forexample, and you have a lap top or a Ipod touch, who do you pay to get on the internet?
I hope this makes sense to someone out there… I know I sound stupid… I’m not stupid but I am old school.

Voting Question: Sprint phone recommendations?
I’m currently looking for a new Sprint phone. I currently have the Palm Centro 2 which is okay, there are a lot of features I don’t like about it (like not being able to turn it off, the alarm feature, etc.) I’m only 18 so I don’t really need all of the PDA features necessarily but I want a hip,use able, and like able phone. I’m looking into the Palm Pixie or the Samsung Exclaim. Any help?
Resolved Question: Does the Compaq Presario CQ50-215NR have bluetooth?
I went to the Control Panel, then clicked on hardware and sound. I scrolled down to the bottom, and it shows “Bluetooth devices”, and in the subcategories “Add new devices” and “Bluetooth settings”
I tried to sync my headset, my phone, and my pda, but nothing happened. I looked in the guide book and on the help, but it said nothing about bluetooth.
Resolved Question: Are there any apps to connect a pocket pc’s GPS to a PC?
I was wondering if there were any apps that would allow me to tether my pocket pc GPS to my PC? I’d like to use my GPS to power a mapping app of some kind. My PDA has both Bluetooth, a direct cable and Wi-Fi. Anyone know of any apps that can do this?
