I have an old Palm VIIx (monochrome) and I want it to ask for a password whenever I turn it on. Where can I get a program like that?

Not something that locks specific programs, but the whole pda, until I’ve entered a password.

I’m thinking about getting an iPod Touch to replace my PDA (Palm Tungsten T3), and to supplement my MP3 player (20GB, 4th gen ipod). I’d like to just go with the 32GB capacity to save that extra $100, but not sure if it’ll be enough. Does this typical usage seem like 32GB will be enough?

My minimum usage:
-17GB of music, no cover flow pictures/album art or anything like that.
-decent amount of pictures
-few scant videos

“Further to this morning’s news, webOS 1.3.5 is now officially available for Sprint Palm users and the full changelog has been posted on Palm’s support pages (Pixi here, Pre here). No GSM or Bell love yet, so far as your correspondent can discern. Thanks to Palm’s use of a new compression method, it weighs in at a tiny 13mb and now has a new “unpacking” step when installing.The most interesting fixes? Posted after the break, along with the Pre changelog.
The ridiculous app storage limit has been killed dead – apps are now stored on the USB drive.
You can now download multiple aplications simultaneously from the App Catalog, and are not confined to the app listing while you wait for it to download.
