I had HP iPAQ rx3710, Asus P535 and currently I’m an owner of HTC Hero. So I was always wondering why do they have so little memory, is the memory for smartphones/PDA some special, expensive or difficult to manufacture? Why don’t the producers equip them with gigabytes of memory? Because usual RAM for PCs and laptops is relatively cheap.

I mostly consider RAM because one can always insert a flash memory, so flash storage is not a big deal. Thanks for your answers

I heard that the has an internet modem Samsung I321 Unlocked GSM Smartphone. An internet modem lets you connect to the internet with your cell phone i guess. Also how about the Samsung BlackJack I607 Unlocked GSM PDA Phone, does this one have an internet modem? Also which phone is better because I’m deciding on which one to buy. Please Help! Thanks!

I have a hp ipaq 6500 but i cant get the internet so unable to get downloads its telling me there is no service provider how do i over come this problem ( Orange network )
the pda has gprs,gpsm and edge and am in s.e. london so would think the signals are strong hope this helps thanks.

when i was little i played these three games, and now for nostalgia purposes i want to know what the are.
one was about a car who gets sent to the moon on a firework and he has to find all the pieces to get back. i think he was purple and has a dog with him.
the second was a 6th grade game about some kids who get stuck on a island and have to figure out what’s going on, there were settlers and some magic stuff and the kids had this PDA thing that you could use to track money and your adventure and stuff.
the last one is a freddie fish game, but you had the find the missing conch, but i’m not sure what is’s called (i might just be the case of the missing (or stolen) conch, but when i’m not really sure).

they’re all educational games, btw.

I have a Compaq iPaq h2200 that is a few years old. I wanted to know if there is a way to update the software. I have the media player that is out of date and wont open any videos and a reader that can’t download any books because the software is out of date. Any suggestions?
