Open Question: Is There A Verizon Compatible Smartphone, That Doesnt Need a Data Plan?

March 4, 2010

the phone needs to be verizon compatible, AKA, CDMA format cell phone. i need something i can download apps on, play media on, use a daily planner, notepad app, and has to be QWERTY keyboard. touch screen is acceptible too. price is not a huge factor but i dont want to pay too much. im in dire need of it, but im 16 so i cant afford alot. i have an unfortunate feeling that Verizon likes to jib people and has not allowed a phone to be produced for their service without a data plan. but i need something to help me keep track of my day. also, it cannot be just a pda, cause ill forget it unless i have a reason (i.e. texting my gf and friends) to bring it with me.
Thanks in advance!
P.S. multiple suggestions is ok ;)
