I actually have 2 of these cameras and both worked fine running under Windows XP. My laptop died and on the new machine Internet Explorer 7 was installed. The software that came with the camera WILL NOT run the cam on new machine and even the Intel web page has no updated driver that will run the cam. Please help me find the right driver as I would hate to have to get XP put back on the new PC just to run the cams, which worked fine on the old machine.
thanks for reply, HappyEnding, but DRIVER ROBOT after a scan, said my webcam driver is UP TO DATE. My system WILL NOT recognize the webcam with the XP driver, and says I DO NOT HAVE A WEBCAM CONNECTED.

Hello guys I recently got Assassin’s Creed one and two for the pc. I am playing number one
right now and am at the beginning in Memory Block 2. At the part where I am supposed to
pick pocket the basket weaver I keep facing a problem. The instructions tell me to press
Shift once and then hold it. But every time I do Altiar stretches out his hand and nothing happens. If I keep pressing shift then I get caught and chased and have to start all over again. Can someone please help me by explaining what I am doing wrong or how to properly input the button’s to make this work. Thanks for all of the help in advance.

Were PCSing from Fort Irwin, CA to Fort Riley, KS. This is the first time as a family that we’ll be moving. We haven’t had out pcs briefing yet, not til next week. I’m just having a hard time understanding something. The waitlist in KS for the housing our family requires is 2-4 months. How does temp housing work? Are we gonna have to be prepared to pay outta pocket? What about our belongings? Is it best for us to have the military move our things so that it can be delivered when we do get housing? Or do private moving companies deliver at a later time too? will a private moving company hold on to our items until we get a permanent place? Anyone who’s done a DITY please advise what you think oour best option is. We wanted to get a little cash from this move, but if we can’t have our stuff for a couple months then perhaps a DITY isn’t the best choice…. any help would be appreciated
So if we do have to rent a temp apt and they move our stuff into the apt, does the military pay again to move it into our permanent housing?
Oh sorry, and my hubby has to check in on august 10th so we’re going to get wait listed this week (once we get our paperwork submitted) so 2 months will have already passed. We have a dog and 2 children and 1040 miles to drive. So this makes it a partial DITY right? Since we have to drive our vehicle. Do you know how much we’re reimbursed for driving there? I recently got into field recording want to try it myself. I also want to combine my field recordings with my music (guitar, bass, drums, vocals, etc…) I have no recording equipment yet because im waiting to see if it is easy or even possible to do what i wanna do with my ideas. Im looking at buying the Fostex FR-2LE CF Field Recorder. I don’t wanna go all out with the top-of-the line stuff but i also don’t want to go with a cheap pocket recorder. My question is; which software should i buy if i want to record and edit multiple tracks. For example: go out and record on the field recorder then come back in and record music tracks at home on my PC. Throw them all into one program and edit and mix the guitar, bass, drums, vocals, etc… tracks, with the field recording tracks. Is importing the field recordings into this program easy? Just looking for the right software.

Also if any would like to share any tips on equipment or getting started in field recordings it would be much appreciated.

I recently bought this new HTC Trin 100 pocket pc with windows mobile in it. I tried to connect it to the wifi internet at home, but although it seems all set-up, when I open the internet explorer, nothing happens. It displays a message about connection failure. Any ideas?
