I have been dating this guy on and off for the past year. We’d been having sex during this time, at which he told me he wasn’t sleeping with anyone else. Well, found out he was, but said he didn’t think it was relevant for me to know, as he thought I was sleeping with other guys (have lotsa guy friends). Anyways, after I found out about this other women, I was very upset, obviously. He always asked me out for dinners, dogwalks, etc. Then one night said he wanted to be exclusive with me, but not to make a “federal case of it”. What does this mean? Be exclusive, but not make a big PDA, or not advertise yet to anyone we know mutually (both go to same gym daily).
