Manufacturers are always keen to promote navigation use on foot, particularly pda devices and recent tablets but does anyone actually walk around with navigation devices? Personally I’d feel self conscious, a little worried about theft. Some of the areas in my location are pretty rough, walking around with gps is like an open invitation. Do you use yours on foot openly, if so, do you live in a city / town ?

I know I’m behind the times but even though I got the software from the Palm web site, I can not get it to allow a hot sync on my new windows 7 lap top, for my Palm pda.
