Samsung to Release iPod Touch Rival with Android!
“It’s well known that Samsung are planning on releasing an Android tablet, but the South Korean firm looks to be wanting to encroach upon Apple’s territory a little further by releasing an Android powered rival to the iPod Touch. The device has been making an appearance in some pictures released onto the web and will apparently be known as the YP-MB2. If the name is all that catchy it should at least do better in the looks department, resembling a Samsung Galaxy S as it does. To be blunt the device is pretty much a Samsung Galaxy S through and through, minus the phone features of course. Oh and the camera is bumped dwon to a 3 MP effort, but still fine for general picture taking. The rest of the specifications should remain the same e.g. 1 GHz Snapdragon, 4 inch SAMOLED screen, etc.” via mobile-review.com

SlashGear Reviews Samsung Epic 4G Android Smartphone
“At 4.90 x 2.54 x 0.56 inches the Epic 4G can’t really be called discrete. It’s a hefty chunk of matte and gloss finish black and silver plastic, wider than the DROID X, and with Samsung eschewing metal but still opting for premium materials that feel suitably high-end. We’d generally prefer metal construction, but the weight impact on the Epic 4G would likely have been significant (already it’s 5.46oz). Up top there’s a 3.5mm headphone socket together with a microUSB port covered with a sliding door; on the left edge is the volume rocker and on the right the power/lock key and a camera shortcut. Under the Teflon-coated bowed back panel is a microSD slot, with Samsung including a 16GB card in the box and the Epic 4G supporting up to 32GB cards. There’s also the sizeable 1,500mAh battery.” Read more here:

Voting Question: Laptop touchpad keys are pushed in/wobbly- want to send it in to Best Buy Geek Squad- is this a good idea?
I got an HP laptop from there last year with the 2 year Protection Plan, but my sister did something to the touchpad keys and so they’re now pushed in and wobbly. I go back to school soon so I was going to have them work on it before. I was initially gonna ask them to do a PC tune-up too, but after looking at some horror stories here about Geek Squad about taking personal information from the computer, screwing stuff up and throwing away the laptop, I’m not sure if I want to send it in at all. This repair would just be external- all they need to do is order the touchpad parts and replace it, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t access my hard drive and my info or do worse to my computer. Am I just being paranoid? I could also see if I could take it into a private computer shop and get it fixed, but I’ll have to pay for the services and parts out of my pocket. Does anyone know if HP warranty covers replacing individual parts? Out of those options, what would you recommend I do?
Thanks in advance for your answers!
Just as a reminder, I do have a Geek Squad protection plan, so I wouldn’t pay for any of the repair or shipping costs. I’m just mostly concerned about personal security or more external damage. If I go to another place, I would have to pay for parts.
