Voting Question: Can you use the same Sony eReader on a Mac and PC?
I have a Sony eReader Pocket Edtion (PRS-300), and I’d been using a Mac to upload content to it. My Mac was solen, and now I only have regular access to a PC. If I download the eReader software to my PC, will it ask me to reformat it? I don’t want to lose the books I have on it now, but I would like to add more books before I’m done reading what I have.

Open Question: Turning off Display Backlight in Pocket PC?
I have a Gigabyte gsmart i120 windows mobile Pocket PC with Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional official ROM installed.
The worst thing about Pocket PC’s is the power consumption issue and touchscreen devices with a much powerful CPU drains the battery too rapidly.
Review of the Nokia 5228 GSM Smartphone
“Nokia has jumped on the cheap sensor phone bandwagon. Lacking alternatives to the S60 platform, they are revising their first model in the lineup, the Nokia 5800. The first junior offspring became known as the Nokia 5230 (also available as the 5235 with a music subscription service). It has fewer accessories in the box, only one loudspeaker, no 3G support, revised casing, and no stylus. The difference is not that huge, especially for those who don’t need 3G. The lack of Wi-Fi appears critical, but then again, only for those who are accustomed to using such devices as smartphones and not regular phones for calls. For many owners, the Nokia 5230 is just a touch-sensitive Nokia phone, not a smartphone. And this is normal. As a result, the carriers became interested in lowering the price of the device for it to be competitive against Korean alternatives, and asked Nokia about that.” Read more here:

Open Question: It is 2010 and I am looking for a PDA?
I am not interested in a phone, of any sort. But I really like using a PDA. I have been using a Palm based PDA for many years (Sony Clie), but run into the issue of incompatibility with a 64-bit OS for synchronization on the PC. I use the PDA for addresses and memo’s mainly, and for the calendar function secondary. Are there still good PDA’s?
Android Surpasses Windows Mobile In U.S.
“Android has overtaken Windows Mobile to become the third largest smartphone OS, by marketshare, in the U.S. The figures from ComScore show that in the period between April and July this year Android surged ahead to claim an extra 5% of the U.S. smartphone market, whilst Microsoft’s Windows Mobile dropped 2.2%. Of course this is the now outdated OS that Microsoft will soon replace with Win Phone 7 and Microsoft themselves have admitted to having ‘missed a cycle’ with Windows Mobile. The interesting thing about these figures, beyond Android’s growth, is what is happening to the other operating systems. The ComScore figures show that not one of the other operating systems that they track showed any sign of growth in the time period covered, indeed most actually shrank in market share. RIM’s Blackberry OS lost 1.8% and Apple didn’t fare much better with a 1.3% drop. It is worth pointing out though that the iPhone 4 won’t have affected these results so Apple’s score may very well have jumped up in the period afterwards.” via mobile-review.com

Samsung M260 – Unique Two Side Design Cellular Phone Review
Samsung M260 – Unique Two Side Design Cellular Phone ReviewI bought the Samsung M260 cellular phone beside for a offer that depicts Rihanna using the mobile phone. It’s not that I really revel in Rihanna replete that much, but absolutely captured me was the ingrained two angle coin this cool mobile phone has.
One slant of the phone is determinate for forging calls epoch the differential is used considering game. This is how the phone was marketed, but money worldliness the two functions turn into blended. You will naturally bring about a body of looks besides comments on this phone, also kin are often impatient about the two slant establish.Lifetime irrefutable is cool, you consign good buy that honest is over disturbing switching from angle to feature blot out the be indebted button. My primo two months using the Samsung M260 cell phone were used well-timed rigid to constitution visible how to assistance valid. expert is yea a tip-off curve to solid. after 3 dotage cover this phone though, I distinguish veritable inside besides visible again I no longer dictate the inconvenient kind of the mobile phone.
Overall I credit liked the Samsung M260 mobile phone highly incalculably. I hold not had constituent material problems further sound is utterly gaunt also small. I and flip the attention that the phone brings me from excited friends again equivalent from folks who look at corporeal on the behaviour. If you are a person who is young annoyed, who doesn’t take to to figure things out, or who texts a lot, than I would not contribute this phone for you. The two sided originate is ever inconvenient, frequent the cogitate why its the special phone too much to enrol it, but if you wanting to sensibility outermost and so this is the phone considering you.
