whose R's? :S that confused me a bit :pNo..swedish is not difficult to learn if you are European I think (and you study hard)...right?and for those people who cannot get the letters äåö, you just need to explain and give some good examples. I think the most difficult part for ppl is to get them say "tj-", "skö-", "stj-, "ng-" and so on...

As dimonalmaty said, if your not swedish some words are really hard to pronounce and there are some small differences like your R:s and our R:s :P But what I've heard swedish is a hard lanugage to learn becauce of the letter Å Ä Ö :) haha

Islandic isnt easy to learn, thats for sure. However swedish seems to be not difficult, danish is difficult in pronouncation, some words are impossible to pronounce=)

Scandinavian languages are not difficult to learn I think...have you tried a language like "greek" though?Too much structure there.....
