I really don't understand the Linux vs Windows thing?

Yeah, Microsoft doesn't care about putting hardwork into their OS's. That's exactly why Microsoft employees wrote over 50 million lines of code for Vista. Also, you aren't thinking about the many shitty Linux distributions that end up failing.Don't get me wrong, I like Linux. My main computer dualboots Ubuntu and Windows and my laptop has DSL, but I'm tired of countless Linux users who are so full of themselves.

It does not advance, the tux send everything right, and there is not any kind of code that we closed down because the union makes the force.

I had to use SVN some times and even before I heard this talk I always wondered how people could be happy with that. Not just that it's not distributed, it's actually slow as hell. Example: determining that the update to the next revision consists of deleting 5 files takes it about two minutes for a relatively small repo.I think it's ok to keep using SVN where it has been used before, to avoid migration problems, but if you start a new project and decide to use SVN or CVS, it is just stupid.

I know what you mean, but when he talked about SVN I thought it was way too much, funny, but too over board. I don't use either SVN or git, but if I were, it would be just too much listening to him.

Heh is good speaker apparently hate to talk :)

Well, here it goes, Linux vs Microsoft, shame on you all. Unlike what Linus said nothing from this discution is about git or DVCS... :(

He is a incredibly good speaker in his own ways.I find the so called "professional speakers" ordinary and boring.Linus in the other way is smart and fun.

good thing I'm done with windows and have migrated to Ubuntu linux, Linux is more of a humble OS then anything, Microsoft is just plain arrogant, corrupt and greedy. Linux actually cares about making a good OS and putting hard work into it.
