I read so many comments about the 77-to 87 era arguing the point if a band is punk or alternative or whatever. Like the late, great, tragic Johnny Thunders said, "I hate that word punk. It's all rock n roll." He was so fucking right. I hate when people think of bands like Television, Blondie, the Ramones as punk. With the exception of Television its fucking rock and roll. If you want to spit on people then you can make a case for punk. I just call that fucking disgusting.

saw em at the Ritz in like...1987 i think, loved em then love em still. i remember brix at the lead of the stage looking amazing and mark walking around behind the drums mostly lol...that was fine, we were all watching brix!
