The EU are not copy cats.The EU national Anthem is based on 'Ode to Joy' from Beethovens 9th symphony. It was composed in 1823.Tho Rhodesian Anthem was accepted on the 26th of August 1974. It also uses 'Ode to Joy' as a base.This does NOT mean the European Union 'stole' from Rhodesia.You shouldn't judge these things with a bias attitude.
