Hey check out Monday Rose I heard they were produced by the drummer of Radiohead Search "Monday Rose Searchlights" to hear one of their songs
MikeszCZ (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
yes, it is. lol
TaylorKingMusic (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
No i didn't say that entirely. But it pretty much is because if you're "classically trained" then you'll follow keys and notes like you've been trained to and so you'll have to do certain things which have been done before.
TaylorKingMusic (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
No it's not.
ReeDParkeR12345 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
theory is helpful in writing music
meir123 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
you said that knowing music theory is equal to not being unique in writing music.and i said, that there's nothing to do between knowing theory and not being original.
TaylorKingMusic (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I don't quite get what you're saying?
meir123 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
knowing music theory has nothing to do with being fixed with your music-writing.
TaylorKingMusic (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Why does their music theory need to be complex? Fuck music theory. What's the point in just doing what someone else has done before? You have to be unique and original as a musician and that's what Radiohead is all about. |
