people this is not a programming discussion about which language is the best coz there isnt a best language its objectivelymy comp dont ask me if i wasnt it to be a .bat programm...it just stays a wordpad(using that coz my comp doesnt seem to have notepad on it...)

Honestly java is extremely easy to learn regardless of how absolutely anal it is. I'm suing the brackeen package by david brackeen. I hate these retarded IDE's like netbeans, its pointless to have something like netbeans running even for someone doing advanced programming like me. I use JCreator and im doing 3D game programming in java. JCreator is great because u dont need to run anything via command prompt but you dont have to hold netbeans hand and walk it through the programs directories.

Java is object oriented. Out is a print stream that has the println method. out is owned by System. It all makes sense. But guess what? Java has static imports, like so:import static System;...out.println(123);You might be surprised that when you go through some of the code, that a lot of the code is actually quite doh-headish, and would have been much better if it was nicely done up in OO.It seems everything you say is all emotional and gut feeling based, and not based on facts.

In my opinion java is much more complicated than other languages just for simple things like writing "hello world" or adding 2 numbers. On the other hand, where other languages get really really complicated, java gets more intuitive and easy. So for learning simple things i would go with C or Pascal ( that's what i did when i started ).I'm not very experienced, but that's how i see things.
