Well, now I know what my personal hell would look like.... having to endlessly listen to this cheesy cruise ship lounge version of one of the best instrumentals of all time.

Hey that`s the same drum beat from the beginning of Fleetwood Macs "Tusk"

Peter Erskine wasn't in Weather Report when they recorded Heavy Weather. The drummer on that album was Alex Acuña and Manolo Badrena played percussion.

OK, this bullshit that Manhattan Transfer wrote "Birdland" ends now!Joe Zawinul from Weather Report wrote this song and performed it on the album Heavy Weather in 77. MT covered their version on Extensions in 79. "Birdland" is Weather Report's song!Give credit where credit is due. Joe Zawinul wrote this piece about Birdland, a jazz club in New York, named after Bird, Charlie Parker. Zawinul played their several times and met his wife there as well. Enough with the "MT wrote this" bullshit!
