Still one of the funniest movies ever made. Gets funnier each time I watch it. I REALLY hope part IV is good, and can be as close to the comedy level this one is. With Murphy keeping a close eye on the production, it could have the potential and recapture the style of comedy he's famous for, not what he's been doing lately.

this movie as a new release vhs back in like 85 or 86 was incredible experince for 10 yr old boy.in the theater, larger than life.no way to recapture the comedic abandon and solid storytelling and chemistry of these golden years of contemporary cinema..beverly hills cop owns everything after it..except maybe midnight run.thanks to martin brest for making these classics
