I have enjoyed Star Trek over the years, but I can not believe in what it regards as its idealism. The Star Trek vision of the future is really covertly totalitarian. The UFP is quite statist, is it not. Where is democracy, w/ all of its human foibles? The communistic order described in the ST: TNG series made this totalitarian nature all the more apparent. It is sterile inhuman future really. I've always preferred the Klingons, they are more human. Anyone notice that Kirk always kills God?

Star Trek Enterprise was rubbish, an insult to the Star Trek name, as a die hard Trekkie I hated it, plot lines were weak, so glad that Rick Berman and Brannon Braga have been sacked from doing anymore Star Trek, this show was shit, not like the other Star Trek's
