I think that UkTechGuy is perhaps not up to scratch in terms of what the technology is actually about, but I think the video isn't a bad one just in the sense that we get to have a look at it. I think he has definitely made a good purchase too.

You can not upgrade the firmware yourself, and no you can not send it in to have it upgraded. You have to buy a new one.I'm using a 2006 produced Rev A00 model and it took 2 years for a dead pixel to show it's ugly head.

that 6ms is just from gray to gray. F+P is 16. I've never tested the ACTUAL refresh (which is g2g+lag) but I play everything without issue.It's not a fast at a TN panel (they have the super fast refresh times), but being a S-PVA panel it has superior color, sharpness, and contrast.You either won't notice anything or if you do you'll get used to it VERY quickly.

I love my fp241w. Unfortunately I just got like 3 dead pixels (they really are dead, I tried the normal unstick methods).Ended up ordering a Dell 2408wfp that gets here next week. I'm hoping it will be at least close to my BenQ.
