CoB is very good, or should I say was. Jus compare Downfall or Hatebreeder to any of their new songs. Their new stuff are less good, Alexi starts singing clean vocals and it pretty much is a different band although.

Who gives a fuck if something had gone mainstream, if you enjoy it that's all that matters. I'm personally not a fan of COB but I'm so sick of all these kids saying shit like "I hate it because its mainstream". metal is about individuality and being yourself. SO FUCK WHAT ANYONE ELSE SAYS.

I'm pretty sure that you can be slipped in a mainstream category and still play the music in which you initially set out to make. You make it sound like just because someone gets signed that they suddenly become lifeless and mundane. You guys are so sad.. If you have enough time to worry about shit like this then why don't you use your supposed intellect and do something worth our time?

True metal was never meant to be mainstream. It was, and is, a rebelion against the mundane world of pop, and other crap music that has no heart. or imagination. It expresses individual creativity. and freedom. If you are mainstream. you are in essence. not inline with what metal is really all about. corporate music is individualy expressed form's of sound. With their creativity stripped from it. It has no life or spirit. And is nothing.

You're neglecting to see that COB and IF play grade A metal. I will continue to listen to them even if they start getting mainstream radio time.
