Don´t worry ,ships try to avoid storm as much as they can. you migth see rough sea but only in rare cases passenger crusiers get trapped in heavy storms or cyclonbes like in some vids you see here.

gunslingernz . the cruiseship is doing fine going upswell! the problem is the speed she is going.. way to fast. and it is very strange that you feel the ship should broadside 50 ft swell as she is "too long" do you have any idea what kind of damage that would do to a cruiseship? i can tell you now that broadside can have fatal results.

The cruiseship would be too long to "ride" a swell that steep. There was nothing the captain could do, scary stuff.
