For cheers, stay stiff, cheer loudly, and dont skip practices unless its an EMERGENCY. For tumbling, have your coach, or another girl on the team that can tumble help you. Or start going to gymnastics. = )

actually its prolly the second thing you should learn.... you should prolly learn front handsprings before you learn a back handspring.. = )

I cheer and honestly, it realy dpends on what team your on and where you practice and stuff. My team practices on hardwood floor, and the tumblers sometimes have issues tumbling. But when we use the mats (the bouncy, firm ones) the tumblers do great.
