ok 1 reason dis wouldn't work is the remote uses an IR signal not RF wich a cell uses. 2 the wires there would short out the batteries. 3 when u clik da channel button it doesn't change anything on the remote but instead sends out the sam IR siganl everytime 2 change it on da t.v.. there r many other reasons 2
