For most tasks you shouldn't need a terminal any more than they would on Windows. The main thing is help is often provided via the terminal since it is hard to mess up on copy + pasting commands.

that is not the point, if you try to do the same windows efects on a windows, it will probably crash , if you don't like the efects you can turn they off, and use those cool "child" efects will not consume much your cpu (on linux).Linux is also, Virus Proof! Free, and if you dislike any program interface, or want some new feature, you can edit it and do your self what you need/want!

So buy Microshaft's X-BOX, but stay the hell away from their OS. XDLinux is for people who want to know why their computer works.Mac is for people who don't want to know why their computer works.Windows is for people who don't want to know why their computer doesn't work.

The only problem is that almost everything is for Windows and I know you can most times get it for Mac OS X or Linux but in games windows always wins
